I have been teaching for nine years, and have gone on several field trips. I felt this was the most engaging, informative and enjoyable trip my class has experienced. Every activity was age appropriate. Our classes are still talking about pesto and the pasta they ate. I also had several parents say the students went home knowing not only what pesto was, but some of the ingredients that are used to make it. There was never a time where students were impatient and waiting to do the next thing. This was a credit to the staff members, because they successfully kept 47 1st graders engaged, interested, and happy for two hours!”
