The Randall’s Island Learning Garden offers 12,000 sf of gardening space with 42 beds, located in a remarkable setting at the Park’s southern end, with views of the East River and out cross the famous Hell Gate rapids. Just adjacent to the garden is a playground and comfort station, making it an ideal spot for large group of children. Also nearby are a wildflower meadow, an apple orchard with a new grove of native Newtown Pippens and trio of soccer fields.
